Activity: Hands-on session on object oriented programming using C++

SUBJECT NAME: Object Oriented Programming using C++     ACADEMIC YEAR: 2018-19
                 
·         A hands-on session for V semester Electronics & Communication Engineering students was conducted on Object Oriented Programming using C++.
·         The students were given instructions prior to the program to install Code Blocks compiler software, an open source tool, to conduct hands-on session.
·         The students first were given introduction to basic concepts on object oriented programming.
·         Basic C++ program structure was explained and simulation of simple C++ programs was demonstrated.
·         Concepts like data types, operators, tokens, identifiers, constants, functions, scope resolution operator.

From this activity, students were able to:
  • Learn the basics of object oriented programming.
  • Learn the use of open source software Code Blocks.
  • Understand programming in C++ by indulging in hands-on sessions.

    For ECE students , to get to know about the programming languages was one of the plus point. Through this session we gained some knowledge about C++.
